Beautiful People.

Beautiful is an adjective so often describing aesthetics, but is really much greater.  When something is beautiful it stirs our soul and I know this is true because I have love.  I have been in love, I've reproduced with love, and I try very hard to live and give love.  After all, I do believe this is my innate purpose in life and I am intent on fulfilling my life's purpose.

I want so much to teach my children that they are beautiful.  And I am not just talking about the aesthetics of their faces, and figures.  I want to teach my little ones that beautiful is the feeling people have from knowing them.  That we are all here to seek what is loving, positive, and good and give that goodness away.  Give goodness in a smile and hug; give it in truth; offer help.   Give it without exception and back-stabbing.  Give it honestly, without keeping score.

The most beautiful people I know are even more beautiful through their actions, body language and kindness.  They are content, genuine, and successful as a result.  The most beautiful people that I know-well have also spent a lot of time developing what I consider beautiful about them.  I accept that what I consider humanly beautiful is not what I learned from my parents example, but what I have found through reflection to improve myself.

The hardest part about being genuine is that it is not often returned.  Which leaves me wondering -How can I change the culture of a community?  I'd like to start with the one in which I work, the work outside my home.  I can only hope that in being true to myself goodness will prevail... soon.  I will continue to fill my cup so that it will overflow, to improve my approach, to influence a community to become open to what is good.

From my own intentions to be a beautiful person, I hope my own children have a head-start on being truly beautiful people.
